Civil rights for being held in jail too long

I filed a civil rights lawsuit against the sheriff's dept in Davidson County, TN (Nashville) because they held me in jail for 34 days too long after a contempt-of-court sentence.

I am afraid they may try to remove it to federal court. In TN, one can sue the sheriff's dept for acts of their deputies, but in federal court you cannot.

Is there any way to prevent it from being removed?

I can email someone with a copy of it (it 's not too long), if they're interested in looking at it.

Thanks,
Don Acree
